Hurricane Irma Update

Hi Shoreliners,

Due to Hurricane Irma approaching our state, we've made the decision to cancel Shoreline Church's 10am weekend service at the Lakewood Ranch YMCA. Please be in prayer for those already affected by the aftermath of this storm and those who remain in its wake.

Additionally, we will be inviting anyone who can safely arrive at our offices on Sunday morning at 10am (10530 Portal Crossing #109) to have a brief time of prayer and worship, but will have more information about that gathering on Saturday evening as well as on Sunday morning. Check back on the banner at the top of our website home page, as well as our Facebook page (

In the meantime, we place our trust in our great God to quiet the storm and to provide rest and peace to our community in the midst of fear, anxiety, and chaos. Join with Shoreline in praying for protection and provision as much relief and rebuilding from Harvey and Irma will be taking place in the coming years. We are grateful for our partnership with Calvary Relief to assist in the ongoing relief efforts.

“For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight; they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits' end. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107:25-32
