Preparing for Sunday - Hurricane Edition

Hey Shoreliners!

It’s been a nerve-wracking week waiting to see what direction Hurricane Irma heads. The song “Eye of the Storm” by Ryan Stevenson has definitely been stuck in my head this week! Let’s focus on the truth of those lyrics - our God remains in control through every situation, and He must be the anchor of our lives. We have a great opportunity to provide hope to our community through all of this!

As you’ve heard, we’ve had to cancel our service this week due to the severity of the storm. Although we may not be singing together as a body, check out these encouraging songs to help us keep our mind on the true Anchor this weekend!

How Great Thou Art

Cornerstone

Eye of the Storm

In Christ Alone

It is Well with my Soul

Great is Thy Faithfulness

We may still be able to meet for a time of brief worship & prayer on Sunday morning at the church office. If you’re not able to come, I encourage you to have a time of family worship on Sunday. You don’t have to go as long as Pastor Pilgrim preaches. 😉But just a simple time of prayer and mediation on scripture will be encouraging for you! Let’s be in prayer this weekend for our city and state!
